Job Description

SUMMARY:   The Marketing Director establishes and promotes the strategy to generate business, marketing opportunities and sales revenue. They're charged with developing strategies and executing tactics that communicate their company's real estate value proposition and message to the consumer. The Marketing Director will work on the development of communication content for marketing collateral materials, the management of social media strategy and content, and the tracking and analytics of marketing programs for Timbers Kiawah.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Essential functions as defined are ILLUSTRATIVE ONLY and not a comprehensive listing of all functions and duties performed by incumbents within this classification.  Essential duties and responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, the following:

 

  • Create, manage and implement marketing strategy, plan and budget for the real estate sales in conjunction with appropriate team members
  • Develop and cultivate relationship with Project Director, Sales Team and Operations Team located at the project
  • Manage and leverage on the ground Marketing Manager
  • Manage agency relationships, purchase orders, billing process, campaign reporting and metrics
  • Create and manage mass marketing campaigns; i.e. direct mail, emails, events, owner referral, broker referral, social media and nurturing, etc.
  • Manage/develop collateral, signage and print media schedules
  • Manage development of all fulfillment materials and fulfillment process including instruction documentation, touch points, broker letters for fulfillment as well as all gifting associated with Owners, prospects and closing gifts
  • Manage/develop content for Owner, Prospect and MLS email communications and coordinate programming with in house production team
  • Develop strategic brand partnerships & implement PR/lead generation campaigns
  • Manage web and social media presence and coordinate digital lead generation programs in conjunction with Director of Digital Marketing
  • Manage and/or ensure website content is current including Calendar Events, News items, Home Page slider and What’s Happening features, copy updates, Meet the Team, eBrochures, Awards and new Basic Page content
  • Work with Director of Digital Marketing and video agencies to create segments in season to be used online, email blasts and socially
  • Manage PR firms and provide strategic direction for PR activity as well as coordinate and host individual and group press visits
  • Provide content for press releases, stories, interviews, etc.
  • Manage all assets on marketing server in an orderly way per process documents
  • Assist in the writing and communication content for nurture emails, website blog posts, website page content, brochure and other marketing collateral materials.
  • Possesses and maintains thorough understanding of the luxury hospitality industry and stays abreast of industry trends.

Skills / Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing preferred. Must have 3+ years’ relevant marketing work experience; OR an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

  • Principles, practices and techniques of the marketing & digital marketing industry
  • Correct business English, including spelling, grammar and punctuation
  • Planning, organizing and administering comprehensive reports and presentations
  • Open-source CMS applications such as Drupal and WordPress
  • Professionalism in daily conduct and interactions
